La serie televisiva Affari al buio: Miami (titolo originale Storage Wars: Miami) è uno spin-off del format originale ambientato a Miami che segue acquirenti professionisti alle aste di unità di deposito non pagate in Florida.

Trama

Il meccanismo è il seguente: quando un deposito non è pagato per un periodo (solitamente circa tre mesi) in Florida, il banditore può mettere all’asta il contenuto del locale come un unico lotto.

I partecipanti possono dare solo un’occhiata rapida al suo interno — di solito dalla porta o solo pochi minuti — e devono decidere se fare un’offerta in contanti senza conoscere esattamente cosa contenga. L’obiettivo è trovare oggetti di valore che possano generare profitto.

Although she’s a non-regular buyer at the auctions, she appeared five times in the second season of Storage Wars, namely in the episodes “Smoke Em If You Find ‘Em”, “The Drone Wars”, “Not Your Average Bear”, “Hook, Line and Sucker” and “Operation Hobo”.

Nabila is set to return later in the third season.

She has openly expressed her disdain for the regular buyers on the show, whom she refers to as a “traveling circus”, and resents their intrusion into her “side of town”, i.e., the more upscale parts of L.A. and Orange County.

Nabila has more affinity with Dave Hester, however, Dave guardedly still views her as a rival.

Nabila supposedly sold the Paris Hilton locker for $10 million.

She sold the locker to an unknown man who used an alias (Bardia Persa) and with the items created the website parisexposed.com.

Paris Hilton then proceeded to sue Nabila, her brother, and “Mr. Persa.”
