Bridal Shower Event Venues in Kenya

You can host a bridal shower pretty much anywhere you would host a baby shower, so be sure to read this too.

With a bridal shower, though, you usually don’t have a very pregnant guest of honor to think of, so you have a little more room for maneuver when it comes to venues.

So…what are some great ideas for where to hold a bridal shower in Nairobi? Consider…

  • driving a little out of town to a farm or to the great outdoors to a place like Olepolos, for a rustic bridal shower.
  • a restaurant, which is a good location for a bridal shower for all the same reasons that it works well as a baby shower venue.
  • hiring a venue much like you would for a wedding or conference, but keep in mind that this would be one of your most expensive options.
  • hosting the bridal shower at one of Nairobi’s many country clubs. If the bride-to-be or any of her friends and family are a member at one, this can be a relaxed but well-catered, exclusive event.
  • a church. If the bride-to-be is a member of a church with a close community, a room at the church might be available for church member events.
  • a botanical garden, which not only has the natural decoration of nature but could also make for some fantastic photos. Some botanical gardens available for event hire in Nairobi include Langata Botanical Gardens, Sagret Gardens on Kiambu Road, the Nairobi Botanical Garden at the National Museum, and Nairobi Arboretum.
  • a hotel room, which makes for a very cosy, intimate bridal shower.
  • a park. This is much like a botanical garden but could be cheaper.
  • a microbrewery for many of the same reasons that it would serve well as a baby shower venue but, in the case of a bridal shower, there’s no reason to hold back from tasting the brew.
  • casino for a Vegas-themed bridal shower.
  • someone’s home – this is the most economical option and also allows for the most flexibility, but it goes along with all the personal involvement that hosting at home comes with, i.e., serving, cleaning up, etc.

Baby Shower Budget Kenya

That is the average baby shower budget.
