Where to Stay in Kigali #1: Kigali View Hotel/Kigali View Stay
Kigaliview Hotel and Apartments, located on the the outskirts of Nyamirambo neighborhood in Kigali, is an inexpensive hotel with amazing views.
The hotel’s services are basic, but everything is neat and clean. The service is particularly friendly and the breakfast hearty and delicious.
Kigaliview Hotel and Apartments has nice outdoor spaces, including a swimming pool that is available for use to all residents.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and is only a few minutes drive from Kigali’s city center.
Once more, did I mention the views? The views at night at Kigaliview Hotel and Apartments are some of the best Kigali views that I have ever seen.

Hotels in Kigali Recommendation #2: Cari Hotel Kigali
Cari Hotel is a budget+ hotel in Kimihururu, located an 8-minute walk from the Rwanda Development Board and a 15-minute walk/5-minute drive from the Kigali Convention Centre.
Cari Hotel features 22 rooms, which open to balconies or patios. The hotel is a smoke-free hotel.
Other features at Cari Hotel include free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant, and a fitness facility.

3. Great Season Hotel Kigali Location & More

If I had to choose one word to describe Hotel Chez Lando, it would have to be the French word ‘sympa’ (sorry, no English word describes it as succinctly—understand: nice & easy).
From its beautiful lush gardens to its spacious rooms (with great bathrooms, by the way!), delicious food, and its Chez Lando Grill (which is a great place to hang out, whether or not you are staying at the hotel), Hotel Chez Lando very quickly begins to feel like home-away-from-home.

Rwanda Hotels Recommendation #7: Hotel Le Garni du Centre Kigali
If you are looking for a place with a calm quiet atmosphere that is within a few minutes’ walk of Kigali’s city center, then Hotel Le Garni might be just the place for you.
It’s situated in beautiful gardens with an outdoor swimming pool. It’s very well priced relative to other accommodation around this area.

The building that houses the Kigali Serena Hotel has for many years been home to one of the best hotels in Rwanda.

I’ve stayed at the Radisson Blu & it is in one of my top three hotels that I remember staying at – those pillows were so soft I was tempted to pack one up in my suitcase and leave with it! 😀
