This post is a compilation of some of the best photos from my Instagram gallery covering places such as Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda, and Dar es Salaam, Kilwa and the Rufiji River all in Tanzania.
Since many of you come to this post looking for High Spirit Lounge photos. though, I have updated this post to start with that.
High Spirit Lounge is located on top of IT Plaza, at the corner of Ohio Street and Garden Avenue, in downtown Dar es Salaam.

In the past few years, Dar es Salaam has had a growing number of rooftop bars that make the most of the beautiful views the city has of the Indian Ocean. This is the lower level of High Spirits Lounge at the top of IT Plaza in downtown Dar. Not shabby at all!

High Spirits Instagram
There are several Instagram accounts associated with the name High Spirits: @HighSpiritsOfficial (a clothing line), @TheHighSpirits (a café in India), and @HighSpiritsLiquors (a liquor store in Rhode Island).
Ok, let’s get a little visual again.
Over the past month or so, my Instagram gallery has taken my followers on a journey through Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda; eating and socializing in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; and on a road trip to the ruins of the ancient sultanate of Kilwa, off the southern coast of mainland Tanzania, crossing the Rufiji river which I had heard so much about but had never seen.
